Biography

​

An original​ personal student of​ Grandmaster ​Remy Presas​, ​Maha Guro Mike Replogle ​​appeared on the cover of Black Belt magazine with the Professor and in "Modern Arnis- the Filipino Art of Stick Fighting", the first USA book​ by Presas.

 

Guro Mike trained in the martial arts for over 55​ years and co-founded American Arnis (January 1984  Black Belt Magazine,  “American Arnis: Evolution of an Art”), an integrated learning system derived from Filipino stick fighting utilizing rattan sticks as training for weapons and hand/foot applications. 

 

Demonstrating the “flow” of Arnis and the sticks’ unique ability to find common ground within all styles of martial arts, Guro Mike has taught at universities, the FBI, police departments, and dojos nationally.
