Biography
PROF. KEVIN DALRYMPLE
9th Degree Black Belt began his study of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu in the late 70. He attended Golden West College studied jujitsu under the direction
of Prof. Mike Chubb. In 1989, he started the judo / jujitsu program at the Orange YMCA until fall of 2011. Today, he continues teaching judo / jujitsu at the SW Senior Center in Santa Ana &Yorba Linda YMCA.
In addition to his teaching activities, he won the Gold Medal in the Yodan / Godan Division at the 1992 AAU National Jujitsu Kata Championship, along with first place finished at the 1995 and 1997 Ohana National Jujitsu Kata Competitions.
Over the years he has been recognized for his service and teaching. In 1997, he received the Instructor of the Year Award from the American Jujitsu Institute and in 2000, he received the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Orange YMCA. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Shoshin Ryu Yudanshakai in 2005.
For his dedication and work, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Jujitsu Institute for hosting the Ohana in 2010. In 2013, he was appointed Regional Adviser by the American Jujitsu Institute.
And in 2014, he received Samurl S. Luke Service Award.
