Biography

Jorge Mendez is a direct black belt from Lono Ancho. He holds a 5 Degree from the Costa Rica KodenKan Hombu and trains under Moises Muños an 8th degree from Lono Ancho. Jorge Mendez has a Black belt in Kenpo Karate, a Brown Belt in Kyukushin Karate and a Red Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has also trains Judo under two Costa Rican Olympians.

 

He is currently the Co-owner and Director of Warriors Costa Rica and the Bushi Kodenkan Danzan Ryu School with more than 80 students training Kickboxing, MMA and Danzan Ryu Jiujitsu. He has a Police and Personal Protection background. Currently owns and runs a Security company in Costa Rica.

 

Married for 21 years and has a daughter and sun that also practice the arts.
