Biography

Inheriting the system of the Tenio's DeCuerdas Eskrima, Grandmaster Arthur Gonzalez is a direct and personal student of GM Gilbert Tenio.

 

He is the founder of DeCuerdas-Diestro fighting systems.

 

DeCuerdas is a physically fast and direct system specializing in hand to hand, hand-to-weapon, weapon-to-weapon and weapon grappling skills.

 

GM Tenio entrusted him as the only student to receive the systems deepest teachings including the Mano Negra and its unique Chi striking.

 

His greatest asset is the Escala teaching system. It’s designed to teach rapidly through the use of concepts and principles.
