Biography

​

I began my martial arts career in 1969, obtaining the rank of San Dan. It was in 1977 that I started the study of Jujitsu and Karate, with Prof. Chow Hoon. receiving my shodan in both Jujitsu and Karate in 1982 and my sandan in Karate in 1986.

​

I've been fortunate to receive a number of awards, such as, Instructor of the Year and Black Belt Hall of Fame and others. I received my Associate Professorship in 2005 and Professor the following year, with a promotion to Hachi Dan in 2011.

Teaching and being a part of Martial arts has been an important and rewarding part of my life.
