Biography

 

Professor Kiehl began his Danzan Ryu studies in 1969 as a student at East Stroudsburg University, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.  He was a student of Sensei William Gessner and Professor Ron Jennings during the early 1970s. 

 

He was a principle student of the Late Professor Ramon Ancho from 1975 - 2001.  He held a twenty year student relationship with the late Professor Kufferath and current day Senior Professor Janovich. 

 

He is a co-founder of the KDRJA.  He has authored numerous texts: Danzan Medicine: The Teachings of Kiehl; Yawara Explained: The Teachings of Kiehl; Kappo: The Teachings of Kiehl; Danzan Meditation: The Teachings of Kiehl; and Danzan Admonitions: The Teachings of Kiehl.
